This system provides real-time flood monitoring and uses a siren alarm to warn residents when water levels reach danger zones. It helps ensure community safety by giving early warnings. The goal is to keep people safe and informed during flood threats.
Our Flood Detector and Notification System keeps communities safe through real-time monitoring and alerts.
Ultrasonic sensors are installed in critical areas to continuously monitor water levels in real-time in rivers and low-lying zones.
The system checks the water level data against predefined thresholds for Flood Warning Signals (FWS 1, 2, 3).
If a water level reaches a threshold, the system triggers alerts, changing the status:
Sirens in affected areas sound automatically to warn residents of the approaching flood.
The system automatically sends SMS or app notifications to the MDRRMO staff and local officials to coordinate response.
All sensor readings, alerts, and actions are logged in real-time to Azure (or cloud service) for monitoring, historical analysis, and reporting.
Residents can check the flood level status through the web/mobile dashboard to stay informed and take action.
